Overview
The Image Analysis Facility (IAF) in the Department of
Pathology and Laboratory Medicine uses MATLAB®
software to provide image processing,
analysis and algorithm development to assist with basic and clinical
research. Digital imaging and data acquisition tools include basic
digital photomicroscopes, flat bed scanners, the Aperio®
whole slide digital imaging system, and the iCys®
Research Imaging Cytometer.
IAF Activites
The IAF performs two-dimensional image
analysis including morphometry, densitometry, contour analysis, etc.
Numeric results as well as photographic quality prints may be provided.
Consultation and application programming in MATLAB®
is offered.
