The Department
of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Brody School of
Medicine is seeking an AP or AP/CP Pathologist for a
fixed-term or tenure-track faculty position. Expertise and/or
fellowship training in a subspecialty area, such as urologic
pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, gynecological
pathology, or other surgical pathology subspecialty area is
desirable. The department at Pitt County Memorial Hospital
accessions approximately 21,000 surgical and 8,000 cytology
cases including 1,200 fine needle aspirates annually. The
candidate will be expected to participate in clinical service
responsibilities, and may be involved in the department's
education and research programs. The applicant must qualify
for a faculty appointment at East Carolina University.
Academic rank and salary will commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is
affiliated with Pitt County Memorial Hospital. PCMH is the
flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern
Carolina and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody
School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
