The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Brody School of Medicine is currently seeking a clinical pathologist for a fixed-term or tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant-Associate Professor. The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible in anatomic and/or clinical pathology and ideally have additional training, experience, or interest in hematology and/or coagulation, and able to obtain a license to practice in North Carolina. The department has an annual service volume of approximately 21,000 surgical specimens, 15,000 cytology specimens, including 1,200 fine needle aspirates, and 80 hospital autopsies. The candidate will be expected to participate in clinical service responsibilities, as well as in medical student/resident education and clinical research. The department has a pathology residency and fellowships in surgical pathology and cytopathology. The applicant must qualify for a faculty appointment at East Carolina University. Rank and salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.  
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree from an accredited school, and be board certified or eligible in AP, CP, or AP/CP, and be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
