Duties and Functions: The resident will review all workups, tests performed, quality control, and proficiency testing performed in the laboratory. These materials are then discussed with the director of the rotation. The resident will review the portfolio of cases relating to Histocompatibility and Transplantation that are found in the Histocompatibility laboratory rotation manual. These cases are to be discussed with the director of the rotation on a regular basis.

Required Reading: The resident should read the procedure manual and become familiar with the procedures prior to observing/performing these tests.
